HWP KITESURF is a based out of Waddell Creek, California. Located 20 miles north of Santa Cruz on Highway 1. As the only certified kitesurfing school in the Santa Cruz area, we have been teaching kitesurfing for five years at the Waddell Creek location. Not only are our instructors highly experienced in accessing student needs and communicating safety techniques, they are also some of the most talented riders in Santa Cruz and on the west coast. HWP instructors are full time kitesurfing instructors, so no fly-by-night moonlighters here! Our instructors are at the beach all day, whether on the water kitesurfing or helping you get out there and up and riding.

HWP KITESURFING instructors live on the north coast of Santa Cruz and are thoroughly acquainted with the geographical, meteorological and wind patterns of this particular area of the coast. As a result of our convenient location we are able to provide up to the minute reports on wind and wave conditions, and are able to ensure the highest degree of lesson forecasting and provide students access to the best wind possible.
